AutoCAD Detailer

Overview:

Eye Designs Group, the leader in ophthalmic environments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced AutoCAD Detailer within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating installation guides using 3D drawings of all company products for use by in-house and contracted installers.

Responsibilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office application such as Word, Excel and Outlook

Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 3D

Basic knowledge of wood cabinetry construction, preferred

Familiarity with installation and commercial construction methods

Ability to take projects from concept designs through to construction documentation

Project Management skills a plus

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor

Must be a proactive, self-starter who is highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED

Associates degree in computer aided drafting preferred

Five (5) or more years of experience creating 3D exploded drawings using AutoCAD

Senior Designer

Overview:

Eye Designs Group, the leader in ophthalmic environments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Designer within our organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced designer with AutoCAD experience and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:
Manage client accounts from design through post installation to ensure client satisfaction with process and products.

Support national sales reps with client presentations and inquiries and quote, order and follow up on chair and wall covering orders.

Create and present to clients design options including but not limited to: space planning, ceiling design, lighting, furniture and interior finishes based on client specifications and budget.

Assist clients with making final design selections and complete sign off package drawings and obtain client approval.

Create construction drawings for use by contractors, architects, and clients and update drawings and sales orders with any client changes.

Respond to client and contractor inquiries and requests in a timely manner

Create drawings and input building plans or shells in AutoCAD and order finish samples for clients, as needed.

Coordinate with various departments in order to complete projects on time and deliver a seamless experience to clients.

Keep abreast of latest industry trends by meeting with design reps, maintaining design library, and participating in various educational opportunities.

Update CRM accordingly with all client correspondence, task and activities completed per project.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.

Five (5) or more years of interior design, space planning or commercial design experience

Experience with producing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software

Prior experience with sales in a design role helpful

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Advanced knowledge of interior design principles and practices

Healthcare Architect

Overview:

Eye Designs Group, the leader in ophthalmic environments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Architect within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Healthcare Architect with at least 10 years of experience in healthcare/medical design, contract documents and specifications relating specifically to healthcare projects.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate the architectural and engineering team(s) through SD, DD, CD and the construction phases of a project.

Manage internal coordination meetings, client meetings and reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.

Oversee construction document production, manage BIM model and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure projects are executed according to work plan.

Manage all phases of projects of various scales and complexities.

Coordinate work through delegation, monitor production and supervise teams.

Provide final review and approval of all code analysis, material selection and specifications.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required from an accredited college/university, Master’s Degree a plus.

Ten (10) or more years of healthcare/medical design experience.

Licensed in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Proficient in AutoCAD 3-D.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Advanced knowledge of various building codes.

Experience in all phases of design and construction.

Previous leadership experience preferred.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Self-motivation skills a must.

Product Developer

Overview:
Eye Designs Group, the leader in ophthalmic environments has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Developer within our organization. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to the product line development, engineering and pricing of our evolving retail and institutional furniture lines.

Responsibilities:
• Execute various Engineering responsibilities such as product line development, engineering and pricing.

• Create 3D models for current and existing product lines.

• Manage, oversee and negotiate large project contracts.

• Product planning and CNC programming.

• Maintain EPA and OSHA compliance.

• Procure Capital equipment, conduct inventory analysis and provide logistics oversite and building management.

• Work collaboratively with sales personnel for custom projects.

Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Advanced degree preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 2-5 years of MicroVellum experience required.

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience working in an Engineering role or manufacturing environment, preferably in the millwork, kitchen/bath, or furniture manufacturing industries.

• Extensive experience using AutoCAD and creating 2D and 3D models.

• Experience with CNC and Product Planning programming.

• Seven (7) or more years of prior experience in a management role within the millwork, kitchen/bath or furniture manufacturing industries.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook

• Proficient with MS Access, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Crystal Reports, Adobe Pro, MS Dynamics ERP, 2020 pattern systems, Inventor or other similar systems.

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Completing installations of display components and cabinetry for clients regionally, and throughout the U.S.

• Regularly traveling to client sites and providing guidance on installation jobs with client contractors.

• Completing various tasks such as assisting the manufacturing area, performing building maintenance, and completing special projects for the organization

• Delivering outstanding customer service to our clients while completing installation jobs

Required Experience:
• Experience in custom cabinet and/or commercial display installation

• High School Diploma/GED

• Minimum of four (4) years of cabinet installation experience or finish carpentry

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Overview:

Eye Designs Group, a premier Interior Design and Manufacturer has a great opportunity for dependable, hard-working individual to join our team as a Cabinet Maker at our facility in Collegeville, PA. First shift, minimal weekends, and generous PTO after 90 days!

As a Cabinet Maker you will contribute to our success by building custom cabinets and displays for clients following specifications.

Required Experience:
• Four (4) or more years of custom cabinet making in a factory setting required, preferably in kitchen, bath and/or millwork industry

• Experience constructing and assembling cabinets

• Capable of working with various materials(wood work, plastic, veneer) with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining precision, accuracy and attention to detail

• Experienced with typical woodworking tools

• Availability to work 9 hour shifts and Saturdays as needed

Picker-Packer Inventory Associate

Overview:
Eye Designs Group, a premier interior design and manufacturing facility located in Collegeville, PA has a great opportunity for a Picker/PackerInventory Associate to join our team. First shift, minimal weekends and generous PTO offered!

Responsibilities:
• Providing staff with the necessary parts, pieces or products to complete orders, tasks or projects

• Preparing materials for shipment

• Communicating with the Director of Procurement or Sr. Inventory Purchasing Associate when inventory levels fall below designated limits

• Maintaining and organizing parts/inventory room

• Reporting any defects found with products being picked/packed to production supervisors

• Performing quality control on products and/or work completed to ensure company standards are met before transferring to a production area or client

• Assisting with daily clean-up of shop area at end of shift, which includes but is not limited to sweeping floors, dusting/cleaning shelves or work stations, organizing materials/supplies or other general duties

• Assisting Utility Associates with completion of various tasks as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Experience:
• High School Diploma/GED

• One year of manufacturing experience, preferably in an Order/Inventory Picking role
